Grayson Cotes, a member of The Satanic Temple, sues the City of Roanoke and Vice Mayor Terry McGuire for $12 million after he was denied permission to speak at the city council prayer. Following the absence of Zion Baptist Church pastor, Vice Mayor McGuire opened the opportunity to the citizens in the room. After hearing Cotes was with The Satanic Temple, he was denied and immediately asked to leave the city council meeting.
