Blacksburg residents Jon Dudding and Nancy Moseley have teamed up with Virginia Tech’s University Libraries to explore new ways of preserving the Barger Cemetery’s gravestones. Using digital technology, the university is helping to document the inscriptions and designs found on the stones before they are further damaged or weathered, with the goal of preserving an important piece of Blacksburg’s history.
