The Virginia Tech Hokies Men’s Hoops Team is currently ranked sixth in ACC Standings midway through the in-conference schedule. With one of the toughest remaining schedules in the country, the Hokies will have to play their best basketball to close out the season.

The Hokies are currently 5-4 in the conference, putting them ahead of teams like North Carolina and Notre Dame. Virginia Tech, who live and die by the three-point shot, will need to shoot efficiently down the stretch and through the ACC tournament in order to have a slither of hope to make the NCAA tournament.

With Duke twice and UVA once more on the remaining schedule, the Hokies will have to pull out at least two of those games to make a sure bet case for the NCAA Tournament. Buzz Williams has proven that he can take this program to places it has never been before. If this team can execute its game plans they have a great chance of being one of the eight teams Joe Lunardi predicts will make the NCAA tournament.
